2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide to Us

We collect the personal information you choose to give us. This includes:

• Contact form submissions. When you fill out the contact form on the Site, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of the "Goals / Message" field you complete.
• Newsletter sign-ups. If you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address (and any other information you choose to provide).
• Direct communications. If you email us at mike@mikesnape.com, message us on social media (e.g., Instagram @mikesnapejr), or otherwise contact us, we receive whatever information you choose to share in that communication.
• Booking and coaching information. If you become a client, we may collect additional information necessary to provide coaching services, such as training history, fitness goals, health-related information you choose to disclose, scheduling preferences, and payment information (processed by third-party providers — see Section 5).

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically by our hosting provider and analytics tools, including:

• Device and browser data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, and language preferences.
• Usage data — pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URL, links clicked, and approximate location derived from IP address.
• Cookies and similar technologies — small data files stored on your device that help the Site function and help us understand how visitors use it. See Section 6 for more.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third-party platforms you interact with us on (for example, Instagram), but only the information those platforms make available to us based on your privacy settings.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

6. Cookies and Analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for two main purposes:

• Essential cookies that are necessary for the Site to function (for example, remembering form input).
• Analytics cookies that help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. These may include tools such as Google Analytics or a similar service provided through our hosting platform.

Most web browsers let you control cookies through their settings, including blocking or deleting them. Disabling cookies may affect how the Site works for you. You can also opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on, available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

7. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. In practice:

• Contact form submissions are retained until they are no longer needed to respond or for record-keeping.
• Newsletter subscribers' information is kept until you unsubscribe.
• Client records (training notes, programs, communications) are kept for the duration of the coaching relationship and for a reasonable period after, generally consistent with industry practice and applicable law.

When we no longer need your information, we will delete or anonymize it.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information against loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. We honor the following rights for all visitors where reasonably practical:

• Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction — ask us to correct information that is inaccurate.
• Deletion — ask us to delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.

9.1 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, the right to request deletion of that information, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.

9.2 EU/UK Residents (GDPR/UK GDPR)

If you are located in the EU or UK, in addition to the rights listed above, you have the right to object to or restrict our processing of your information, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9.3 How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of these rights, email us at mike@mikesnape.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site and our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at mike@mikesnape.com and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and platforms (for example, Instagram). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information to them.

12. International Visitors

Mike Snape Fitness is based in the United States, and the information we collect is processed and stored in the United States. If you are visiting the Site from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice (for example, by posting a prominent notice on the Site or by emailing newsletter subscribers).
